The dirt and rust layer on the surface of steel should be removed, especially the black oxide skin formed when rolling steel, which is the cathode of electrochemical corrosion and the root cause of corrosion, and must be removed. The quality of surface treatment should reach Sa2.5 level of steel surface pretreatment specification before painting.

2, material selection: surface painting special steel structure anticorrosion paint is still the main means of steel structure anticorrosion and space frame anticorrosion at present. Anti-corrosion paint for steel structure can be divided into primer, middle paint and top coat according to the protection function, each layer of paint has its own characteristics, each has its own responsibility, and several layers are combined to form a composite coating, which improves the anticorrosion performance and prolongs the service life.

3, coating thickness: paint is an intermediate material for anti-corrosion, must be painted to form a coating. If the coating thickness is uneven, the steel surface burrs or anchor spinning peak will reveal the coating. If the coating construction traverses less, the coating has pinholes, the oxygen in the water, chloride ions, water molecules, etc. will pass through these weak places, so that the steel rust corrosion. Corrosion products volume expansion, the formation of rust package, gradually expand, and finally the coating blistering off.
