First, the causes of corrosion affecting large-scale space frame projects

The first is the coating aging problem of the space frame engineering, no matter what kind of material basically has the characteristics of aging, and this anti-corrosion coating is no exception, and the aging of this coating makes the failure of the anti-corrosion coating of the steel structure, and then makes the rust affect the life.

In addition, a natural environmental factor around the space frame project, if the air around the steel structure plant is relatively humid, then it will inevitably make the steel structure gradually rust under the erosion of water and air.

In addition, if the pollution in the surrounding environment is more severe, among which there are sulfide, nitride, carbide and other corrosive and harmful components in the polluted atmosphere, it will also affect the service life of the steel structure plant.

The surface treatment quality shall reach Sa2.5 level of the steel surface pretreatment specification before coating.

2, material selection: surface coating of special steel structure anti-corrosion paint, is still the main means of steel structure anti-corrosion and space frame anti-corrosion. Steel structure anti-corrosion coating according to the protection function can be divided into primer, middle paint and top paint, each layer of paint has its own characteristics, each responsibility, several layers combined to form a composite coating, improve anti-corrosion performance, extend the service life.

3, coating thickness: coating is an anti-corrosion intermediate material, must be coated to form a coating. If the coating thickness is uneven, burrs on the surface of the steel or the top of the anchor spinning will reveal the coating. If the coating construction passes are few, the coating has pinholes, and oxygen, chloride ions, and water molecules in the water pass through these weak places, making the steel rust and corrosion. The corrosion products expand in volume, forming rust packets, gradually expanding, and finally the coating bubbles off.
